To Whom It May Concern,
Trying to plan an off shore fishing trip in Florida when you live in Iowa may seem like a daunting task. But after searching a few web sites, and making a few phone calls, I decided to charter a boat with Captain Dusty Rapp and it wasn't long to realize what a great decision this was.
My son and I chartered an evening shark trip followed by an all day trip with Captain Dusty and Tightworks. It was our first off shore fishing excursion and one we will never forget. We caught more fish than we thought we would, hitting our limits on shark and king mackeral early on our voyage We also caught other variaties of fish including several red drum that were too big to keep and were all between 30-40 lbs each.
Captain Dusty is an outstanding guide and companion. He is very very passionate about his work and keeping a safe, clean boat. He is very personable, professional, and a wonderful person to go out on the water and spend the day with. His vessel was clean, well equipped, and mechanically sound...perfect for an off shore fishing excursion.
At the end of our trip Captain Dusty also cleaned all the fish, bagged them and iced them for us, and even provided some wonderful recipes for the different varieties we brought home. Everything we cooked was simple to prepare but most of all delicious.
My son and I cannot wait until we can come back and enjoy this experience again. The rest of my family can't wait for another fish dinner that we provide. Whether you are an experienced fresh or salt water fisherman, or like me are looking to build a memory with your kid(s) that will last a lifetime, or you are just wondering what it would be like to try fishing for something off shore, you will love the day you spend with Captain Dusty and Tightworks.
Captain Dusty gets my highest recommendation and I will call on him again at my first opportunity.
